Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories are of attending play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk played in a variety of commercials for kids. She graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 before getting married in a civil ceremony that December. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk gave birth to a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she received nominations from her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009 Silk was a part of Bo Dennis, the lead Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she is ready to resume her work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to a large online audience through social networks.
